Jupiter and Thetis


An orchestra of clouds surrounds the splendor of Jupiter's throne. Maidens march to and fro displaying their talents for their lord. Thetis wins his eye. But never can the soon-to be mother of Achilles live in the cloistered halls of Olympus. A son can never supersede the father.
